PFH Second Mock Draft Picks (27-32)

Hello everyone, I hope that all of you are doing great and enjoying the mock draft as much as me! We are down to just our final six picks. Teams from the Falcons-Packers. Who will they take at the bottom of the first? Any surprises? Well then how about we get to it and see who is going where.

Falcons, 27th Pick - Justin Houston (OLB), Georgia
A big fan of Justin Houston. Has a lot of upside to him, and if he is out there for the Falcons' pick, there is no way that they pass him up. Watching his play at Georgia, he has a lot of upper body strength which helps with his pass rushing ability. He is one of the best pass rushers in this class, and also a very good run stopper. Atlanta would have to put this guy at the end position. A position that he played until Georgia switched to a 3-4 defense. He is a great talent in this class and a great pick to help that Falcons' defense.

Patriots, 28th Pick - Cam Heyward (DE) Ohio State
Cam Heyward is an interesting prospect. He has good size and is a very good athletic DE. Use to playing in the 3-4 scheme at Ohio State, and has a motor that doesn't stop. I like watching his film. He is powerful and is quick. Has had a few good seasons at Ohio State, but wasn't as impressive in his senior year. Still didn't do bad, and was a little dinged up. Had 3.5 sacks last season. Will work good in a 3-4 scheme.

Bears, 29th Pick - Nate Solder (T), Colorado
Nate Solder is a good young talent, and he has to prove that. I think the Bears need a linemen. They had problems at times last season with the offensive line, and Nate Solder has the potential to be very good. The question is where would you put him? At Colorado he played left tackle and he did a nice job there. Would you keep him there or are you going to move him to the right side is the question. Solder has quick feet and is strong. Had a nice Combine and is on my radar. look for the Bears to be very interested in Solder if he is still out there.

Jets, 30th Pick - Marvin Austin (DT), North Carolina
A great talent that doesn't get out of the first round. Has teams convinced that he is a great athlete. Had a good career at Nor Carolina, but there are some things that he needs to improve on. He is very athletic for a defensive tackle, but watching his film I can tell that he needs to get lower. He goes to high while getting blocked and at times he gets blown off the ball. A nice pass rusher when he wants to be. Questions about his motor. Has had great team work outs and a good senior bowl. The jets need to get a bit younger on that defensive line that could also use a little help, take Austin. He improves the line as soon as you plug him in.

Steelers, 31st Pick - Brandon Harris (CB), Miami
I feel that the Steelers should go for a good corner that already has a lot of potential. Harris can play good man coverage, but will occasionally let a catch go by. He has the potential, and if he goes to the right organization, and to the right coaching staff, he will be a very good corner.I feel that if they want a better defense than they already have, a corner back is a need. He had a good career at Miami, and I think that he can make the transition to the NFL.

Packers, 32nd Pick - Akeem Ayers (OLB), UCLA
Akeem Ayers should have a bright future in the NFL. Might take a while to get off the board, but has good potential. Has had several good games with UCLA. The Buccaneers could use a line backer like Ayers. Someone that knows how to make the play. He can play several different positions if you ask him to, but for the Packers he will be an outside line backer position. On the other side from Mathews. He is an average tackler, but would get the chance to work with Mathews. This could be a great pick defensive wise for the Packers if Ayers lives up to his potential.
