PFH Second Mock Draft Picks (11-20)

Okay guys, since my first ten picks are out, it is time to move on. Now we will go through picks 11-20. Let's take a look!

Texans, 11th Pick - Aldon Smith (DE), Missouri
Aldon Smith is my #2 DE on my board. Had seventeen sacks in his two seasons at Mizzou. Is a natural pass rusher. Not the most impressive run defender, but is a good tackler. Lining up on the other side of Mario Williams, this can be a dominant defensive line. Aldon Smith continues to grow on my board mainly because of his pass rushing. I really like this guy, and I think that he will be a dominant if he lives up to his potential.

Vikings, 12th Pick - Robert Quinn (DE) North Carolina
Robert Quinn is a questionable pick all because of that suspension this past season. If he had another season like he had in 2009 instead of getting suspended, he maybe have been an earlier pick. He has dropped on my board. By what we know about Quinn, I think the Vikings should take a chance on him. He makes the defense stronger, and would be a great addition to Jared Allen, and with the current CBA situation, we aren't sure about Ray Edwards. Is a dominant pass rusher and would be good pick right here if he falls.

Lions, 13th Pick - Prince Amukamara (CB), Nebraska
Amukamara is my personal favorite CB in the class. I think that he plays very good man coverage and just gets into excellent position to make the play. Tackles so well in the open field. I feel that the Lions could use a potential "shut down" corner on their team. He has all the ability to be great. Struggles at times with his back peddle. Reminds me of Nnamdi Asomugha. Just has the potential to be a shut down corner back. Was a team captain last year for Nebraska, and I think that shows that he can be a good leader.

Rams, 14th Pick - Phil Taylor (DT), Baylor
A big fan of Phil Taylor, but needs to improve on some things. One thing that he does well is run stopping. He is a good tackler as well. Not the fastest defensive tackle, but he can rush the passer. He was an All-Big 12 Honoree. In the 2010 season, he had sixty-two tackles, and two sacks. He is the third defensive tackle on my board. He is very physical. I think that the Rams need a guy like Taylor on a defensive line that needs to get stronger. Maybe a little early for Taylor, but this is certainly a need for the Rams.

Dolphins, 15th Pick - Mike Pouncey (C/G), Florida

Mike Pouncey reminds me just of his brother Maurkice. He can play the center or guard position, and is big and powerful. Standing at 6'5, and weighs over 300 pounds. A big guy that will be a force in the inside. Has good feet, and can block well against a pass rusher. I think that his draft stock has risen because of what his brother has already done in the league. The Dolphins might want a guy like this who can become just like his brother and be a future pro bowler. Also look for the Dolphins to think about Mark Ingram. There is a need at the running back position as well.

Jaguars, 16th Pick - J.J. Watt (DE), Wisconsin
I love J.J. Watt. When you watch the guy play back in Wisconsin, he has an unbelievable motor. Watt is a monster. Gets right through the offensive line and would make this defensive line much better. He can defend the run very well. Gets a very good first step off the line that helps in his great pass rushing game. The Jaguars need to improve on the defensive line, and J.J. Watt is the best pick right here if available.

Patriots, 17th Pick -
Anthony Castonzo (T), Boston College
I like Castonzo to the Patriots. He had a good Senior Bowl, and is a very good talent at the tackle position. The Patriots need to take a couple offensive linemen in this draft and this would be the best one to take if available talent wise. Castonzo is my second ranked tackle. He won a number of awards in 2010. A very good pass blocker. Castonzo has good feet and very powerful.

Chargers, 18th Pick -  Cameron Jordan (DE) California
Cameron Jordan is a good, safe pick right here for the Chargers. I think personally the defense has to get sharper, and I think Cameron Jordan will help out with that. Jordan can fit as a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE. Has good strength and can make all the good plays. Safe pick, and if he is available I would take him at 18 would be a smart idea to select him.

Giants, 19th Pick - Mark Ingram (RB), Alabama
This is a spot where I think Mark Ingram would fit. There are some other teams before this spot where they might draft him, but not a big need for other teams. If Brandon Jacobs does not return as a Giant, this could be a wise choice for the Giants. Mark Ingram rushed for 42 touchdowns in his career at Alabama. Most in Alabama history. Ingram missed two games at the start of this season with a knee injury, but finished strong. If I am the Giants, I am thinking that Bradshaw and Ingram in the same back field can be dangerous.

Buccaneers, 20th Pick - Ryan Kerrigan (DE), Purdue
Another guy that you will just fall in love with. This guy has a motor that will not stop. Finds a way to get to the quarterback each and every play. Kerrigan's game against Michigan in 2009 is probably my favorite film of him. Seemed like every play he was making a tackle or a sack. In his career at Purdue, Kerrigan made 57 tackles for a loss, and 33.5 sacks. I think this is a smart pick. Is going to be a really good football player. Will improve your pass rush a lot. Unanimous 1st team All-American (First time in Purdue history). This is a great kid and would be a great addition to the Buccaneers.
