What have we Learned?

Well we have now moved past the Divisional Round in the Playoffs and there is a lot that we can take for this last week of Football.

  • Tom Brady maybe not as clutch as everyone may have thought. Tom Brady has has just lost his third consecutive playoff loss. If we really think about it it, Brady is used to working with a big lead, and that doesn't sound clutch to me. Once Brady was hit a few times, he was a little rattled out there. He still played a good game, and is no doubt an all-time great quarterback.
  • Steelers do have a Power House Offense. The Steelers played a great game on Saturday. Down 21-7 at halftime, came back from behind, with a little help from that great defense. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger don't get nearly enough credit for what he deserves. Every time time Big Ben needs to get it done, he does. No matter how hard it looks. The Steelers defense did very well for playing a Ravens defense, and if Big Ben had one or two more decent offensive linemen, you are looking at a very dangerous team.
  • Aaron Rodgers not Slowing Down. Aaron Rodgers carved up the Falcons offense, throwing for three touchdowns, and he ran for one too. Rodgers has looked very good in his first two playoff wins. Next week will be a great game at Soldier Field. He hasn't slowed down yet, what makes you think that a tough Bears Defense will slow him down?
  • Jets just don't Talk the Talk, but they can Walk the Walk. We have all seen the highlights to the Jets @ Patriots game. If you have read my post, I didn't say that it was impossible for the Jets to win, I said that it was going to be a very good game. Point is that Rex Ryan was ready for this game. he was very focussed, and wanted to show Wes Welker and the Patriots, his feet heading to Pittsburgh for the AFC Conference Championship game. I am happy for the Jets to win a big game like this, but one thing that I must say Jets, don't think that you are the best already, because you have a storm waiting for you in Pittsburgh, and it will be loud! All in all, a great way to wrap up the Divisional Round.
We have had several great games this Playoffs, and it shows you that teams like the Patriots and Falcons, teams that have been hot all year long, their seasons can just stop, and your great season is over. this has been another great round of the playoffs that goes in the record books for the 2010 NFL season.
Who do you guys like next week? Who will be heading to Superbowl 45?
