Head Coaches on the Hot Seat

Hello guys. I hope you guys are all doing good. Here is a good post that I decided to make, talking about all of the Head Coaches that may be on the "Hot Seat."

The first coach that may be the fastest one on his way out is Dallas Cowboys' Head Coach Wade Phillips. Wade Phillips and the Dallas Cowboys had very high expectations this year to go to the Superbowl. Now that the Cowboys have a record 1-5, it doesn't look like those expectations are going to come true. Especially with Tony Romo going to be out for quite a few weeks, if not out for the season, with a broken clavicle. Will Jerry Jones say that is enough of Wade Phillips? Will Phillips get fired before the season even ends? It kind of makes me think that why were the Cowboys' expectations this high? Do you think that they were way overrated? Wade Phillips has a great mind for football, but will that be enough for Jerry Jones to keep him? Wade Phillips is defiantly on the hot seat in my opinion.

Another coach maybe on the track to getting his headset taken away from him is
Panthers' Head Coach John Fox. Fox has led his Panthers to a Superbowl in 2003, but lost to the Patriots in a heartbreaking defeat. Since then, Fox and the Panthers have had up and down seasons. Recent years there have been more down years. With the Panthers having it looks to be another unfortunate season. Makes me think,  how long will the Panthers accept these losing seasons? Panthers do have a very good running game, but the rest is shaky. With Matt Moore taking back the starting job at starting QB, I guess we will have to see if that will change, but John Fox's job as the Panthers' Head Coach could be in jeopardy.

How about Jaguars' Head Coach Jack Del Rio? He could very well be on his way to packing his bags. Del Rio and his Jaguars have not played the way people have liked to wish these last couple of years, but with the division still up for grabs, who knows what can happen? Could sneaking into the playoffs save Del Rio's job? Jaguars at this time are suffering QB issues, with a few injuries, but does that really matter? Has Del Rio held on to QB David Garrard a little too long? Should the Jaguars thought of taking a QB in the recent drafts? Since 2007, we haven't seen a tough Jaguars team, in my opinion. Del Rio needs a way to try to keep his job, but does he have enough time?

49ers' Head Coach Mike Singletary's days as the 49ers Head Coach might be numbered as well. Quite like the Cowboys, the 49ers had many expectations this season. A lot of people though that Singletary was going to lead this team to great things, but heading into Week 8, those people are looking around with their hands on there hips, wondering what has happened. I can even throw myself into that number of people. What can be the 49ers problem right now? Is this enough to yank the plug on Singletary? In my opinion, I  think Singletary deserves at least one more season. The Players respect him, and I don't see him letting the 49ers have two losing seasons in a row. Will he do enough to save his job?

Who will fill in for these guys if they get fired. Bill Cowher seems to be the most common name mentioned. He would be coming out of retirement. Jerome Bettis said in his SI article that Cowher would be the new Head Coach of the New York Giants. Well at this time, I think the Giants won't be the team that will get him, unless the Giants have a bad second half of the season, which is very possible. Then we could if the SI article would be correct. Another top name is Jon Gruden. Gruden is a color commentator on ESPN during the "Monday Night Football" games. Gruden's last team was the Buccaneers, and when he was fired, he joined ESPN. He brings great energy to the games, and I think that is what is most liked about him. Teams could be ready to hire Gruden, but is Gruden ready to become a Head Coach again?

Well there you go. I hope you have liked this article. Comment on what you think about it. Who else can be on the hot seat? Guys maybe like Eric Mangini and Brad Childress. I am going to have a new poll up soon after the poll we have up right now, referring this article. So vote now, and wait for the next one. Take care everyone! Remember to join my Hotline Chat tomorrow, October 27th, at 7:00-7:30 P.M. Bye guys!
