Big Blue is Roaring about his Lions

Brandon Sweeney: Big Blue, thanks for coming.
Big Blue: Thanks for having me.

Brandon Sweeney: Alright, at the start of an interview, I always like to get a little back round on them. How long have you followed the Lions, and for what reason?
Big Blue: Have followed the Lions for over 20 years, and it's my home team.

Brandon Sweeney: Alright, the 2010 Lions Big Blue. If you could say one word to describe this team, what's that word?

   Big Blue: Potential.

Brandon Sweeney: Agreed, okay Big Blue, the Lions have just picked up their first win of the season. Can you talk about how that was to get the first win out of the way, and recap those other four losses.
Big Blue: When you get that first win it helps with confidence, and I think you know in the NFL that is a must. To recap on some of those losses, one was tough because it was the Calvin Johnson play in the end zone. To have that not count, and to not get a big road win in week one was tough, but for the most part they have been in all the games just got to find a way to get the job done.

Brandon Sweeney: How do you think Shaun Hill has done at QB?
Big Blue: I think he is doing well, he's making the right throws, and not forcing anything, and taking what the defense gives him.

Brandon Sweeney: What do you know about the Stafford injury, and when he comes back, who is the Lions starting QB?
Big Blue: The Lions are not saying much. They are just calling it a bruised shoulder. I don't think he will be back until after the bye week, but when he is ready to play, he will be the starter no doubt about it.

Brandon Sweeney: Jahvid Best, now I liked him in college, and liked him at the combine, and now he is looking very good as a pro. What do you have to say about Best, and this great season he has had so far?
Big Blue: I like Best, but was not sure about him when the Lions drafted him. In college, he was hurt a lot, so I wonder about his toughness, but so far he has been good. He gives them much needed speed that they needed at running back.

Brandon Sweeney: Now you say this team has potential. Potential to do what?
Big Blue: To build up to be a championship contender. If they have another draft like they did last year, this team could be among one of the best.

Brandon Sweeney: The Lions really have a tough remaining schedule. I mean they play the Giants, Redskins, Jets, Cowboys, Patriots, and the rest of their division games. How many of these games can they honestly win? Will they shock any of these teams?
Big Blue: I think that they can win around four more games this year. I also think that they will be in a lot of these games, so sure they could shock some teams.

Brandon Sweeney: One guy in your opinion on this team that will be a big star in the league, and has the potential to be the best at his position?
Big Blue: I have two guys in mind, but I will just give one for now, and that's Calvin Johnson. This guy is the real deal. 6 foot 5, 236 pounds, and runs a 4.3 -40 yard dash.

Brandon Sweeney: Big Blue, are there any last things that you would like to say that we did not cover about these Detroit Lions?
Big Blue: Yeah, the other guy who is going to be a star is Ndamukong Suh. This man is a beast in the middle of that defensive line.

Brandon Sweeney: Big Blue, thank you so much for talking football with us on the Hotline.
Big Blue: Anytime, thanks for having me. Keep up the good work.

Well that wraps up another good talk, with another good guy. Leave your comments and you questions. I might be able to get Big Blue answer your question. HERE ARE YOUR 2010 DETROIT LIONS!
