PFH First 2011 Mock Draft (Picks 27-32)

Well guys, I am down to just my last six picks. I hope that you have enjoyed my picks so far, and enjoy the rest of these. Remember that I will be having another two mock drafts before the draft, so there is so much more to talk about! I hope that you decide to leave your comments and tell me how you feel on all of my picks.

Falcons, 27th Pick - Mike Pouncey (C/G), Florida
Mike Pouncey reminds me just of his brother Maurkice. He can play the center or guard position, and is big and powerful. Standing at 6'5, and weighs over 300 pounds. A big guy that will be a force in the inside. Has good feet, and can block well against a pass rusher. I think that his draft stock has risen because of what his brother has already done in the league. The Falcons might want a guy like this who can become just like his brother and be a future pro bowler.

Patriots, 28th Pick - Justin Houston (OLB), Georgia
With the Patriots 2nd first round pick, I think that they need to help the defense out. The defense had trouble stopping the run, and Houston, a good tackler, can help them out with that. The Patriots had several teams run successfully against them this past season. Houston can become a good line backer. Became an OLB in 2010 for Georgia, when they switched to a 3-4 scheme. Houston showed that he could play it well. Shows that he get off blocks, and can even bring a bull rush if needed. this can be a needed pick for the Patriots, to get stronger on defense.

Bears, 29th Pick - Aaron Williams (CB), Texas
I believe Aaron Williams will be on a lot of team's radar down late in the first. Is a good talent that knows how to make plays. Is still young, but by time he learns the new play book, he should be a very good corner. Makes good open field tackles, and has good closing speed to make a play. The Bears could use a guy like this, but if they decide to pass on Williams, they may use their pick to take Stephen Paea (DT).

Jets, 30th Pick - Stephen Paea (DT), Oregon State
A strong guy that I think Rex Ryan would fall in love with. Is a very good run stuffer. Plays angry, good tackler, and can be a quarterback nightmare. Hard to move, will need to be double team. If he is available, the Jets need to make a pick like this. He can really help with the Jets 3-4 scheme.

Steelers, 31st Pick - Derek Sherrod (OT), Mississippi State
A good prospect at the tackle position. Has a lot of experience at the tackle position already. Would have a chance to watch Flozell Adams for awhile. Watching behind Flozell, who has made a great transition to the right tackle, can only make Sherrod a better player. Has good feet, and is a solid run blocker. Can help the Steelers in the run game, and along with giving Roethlisberger passing time for years to come. Everyone seems to poke fun at this offensive line, but if they can add a guy like Sherrod, we are looking at a offensive line that will be pretty good.

Packers, 32nd Pick - Cam Heyward (DE) Ohio State
Cam Heyward is an interesting prospect. He has good size and is a very good athletic DE. Use to playing in the 3-4 scheme at Ohio State, and has a motor that doesn't stop. I like watching his film. He is powerful and is quick. Has had a few good seasons at Ohio State, but wasn't as impressive in his senior year. Still hadn't do bad, and was a little dinged up. Had 3.5 sacks last season. Will work good in a 3-4 scheme.
