PFH First 2011 Mock Draft (Picks 11-20)

Hey guys, now it is time to look at who I have drafted from picks 11-20. Remember that I will have two more complete first round mock drafts before the NFL Draft.

Texans, 11th Pick - Anthony Castonzo (T), Boston College
I like Castonzo to the Texans. He had a good Senior Bowl, and is a very good talent at the tackle position. I think that the Texans need a guy like this on their line. Castonzo is my top rated tackle. Now I don't have a tackle in the Top 10, and in the draft we are use to seeing a lot of tackles go in the first round, and this is a late start for the tackles. Castonzo has good feet and very powerful.

Vikings, 12th Pick - Jake Locker (QB), Washington
Jake Locker is first on my list for the Vikings. The Vikings need a potential Franchise quarterback, and Locker has all the potential. The Vikings need to make a decision about Travaris Jackson. Whether he will be the starter for the Vikings or do they want to go a different direction. There are questions about Locker's accuracy, so therefor he has a lot to prove. I also think the Vikings might go for a guy like Nate Solder to help out the offensive line.

Lions, 13th Pick - J.J. Watt (DE), Wisconsin
I love J.J. Watt, you watch the guy play back in Wisconsin, he has an unbelievable motor. The Lions are very young at DE, with Cliff Avril and Turk McBride, but Watt is a monster. Gets right through the offensive line and would make this defensive line much better. The Lions have a good young offense, and now it is time to get better on a defense that isn't too bad. If you add J.J. Watt on a defense with Ndamukung Suh and Corey Williams, it is going to become a very good defense. If the Lions don't go with Watt, they should consider Jimmy Smith (CB) or Brandon  Harris (CB). If they go offense, Mark Ingram (RB). If they get one more piece like Ingram to this offense, they will be dangerous.

Rams, 14th Pick - Juilio Jones (WR), Alabama
The Rams have a few choices right here, and I think that there biggest need right now is a wide out with a huge amount of potential. The sky is the limit for Jones. A team like the Rams could use a guy like Jones. He has good hands, and runs nice and smooth. He is a huge competitor. Watching him at the Combine made me like this guy even more. I also think that the Rams could go for a running back, and if Mark Ingram is available, I would take a chance on him. Steven Jackson has has some big injuries, and Ingram would help out, and make this a better offense. Juilio Jones can make Sam Bradford very happy, and he should land at a spot like here.

Dolphins, 15th Pick - Cameron Jordan (DE) California
Cameron Jordan is a good, safe pick right here for the Dolphins. Many people think that the Dolphins will go QB right here, and on my list my next QB is Ryan Mallett. I think personally the defense has to get sharper, and I think Cameron Jordan will help out with that. Personally I think that Jordan can fit as a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE. Has good strength and can make all the good plays. Safe pick, and if he is available I would take him at 15.

Jaguars, 16th Pick - Ryan Kerrigan (DE), Purdue
Another guy that you will just fall in love with. This guy has a motor that will not stop. Finds a way to get to the quarterback each and every play. Kerrigan's game against Michigan in 2009 is probably my favorite film of him. Seemed like every play he was making a tackle or a sack. In his career at Purdue, Kerrigan made 57 tackles for a loss, and 33.5 sacks. I think this is a smart pick. Is going to be a really good football player. Will improve your pass rush a lot.

Patriots, 17th Pick - Nate Solder (T), Colorado
Nate Solder is a good young talent, and he has to prove that. I think the Patriots need a linemen. They had problems at times last season with the offensive line, and Nate Solder has the potential to be very good. The question is where would you put him? At Colorado he played left tackle and he did a nice job there. Would you keep him there or are you going to move him to the right side is the question. Solder has quick feet and is strong. Had a nice Combine and is on my radar. Patriots need to go offensive line with their first, first round pick.

Chargers, 18th Pick - Adrian Clayborn (DE), Iowa
When I watch Clayborn's film, I think that he should be ranked higher, but with all the talent on the defensive line, he falls somewhere around here. He may rise. If you are in need for a defensive linemen, Clayborn is right up any team's alley. Has good closing speed, and can rip off blocks. He is a very good leader on and off the field. If you watch his game against Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl in 2009, he had a great game. There aren't very many things that he does wrong, and therefor he should fit good with a team like the Chargers.

Giants, 19th Pick - Mark Ingram (RB), Alabama
This is a spot where I think Mark Ingram would fit. There are some other teams before this spot where they might draft him, but not a big need for other teams. If Brandon Jacobs does not return as a Giant, this could be a wise choice for the Giants. Mark Ingram rushed for 42 touchdowns in his career at Alabama. Most in Alabama history. Ingram missed two games at the start of this season with a knee injury, but finished strong. If I am the Giants I am thinking that Bradshaw and Ingram in the same back field can be dangerous.

Buccaneers, 20th Pick - Akeem Ayers (OLB), UCLA
Akeem Ayers has a bright future in the NFL. Might take a while to get off the board but has great potential. Has had several good games with UCLA. The Buccaneers could use a line backer like Ayers. Someone that knows how to make the play. He can eventually become a team leader on this team. I think that you take Ayers right here or trade down.
