Jets' new Right Tackle
The New York Jets will start a new right tackle this week over Wayne Hunter. That being 25 year old Austin Howard. Howard use to stock groceries at a store. The same story as NFL Network's Kurt Warner when he went into the NFL. Howard was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Eagles back in 2010. He had four game appearances including one start in Philadelphia. After not making the squad, Howard found himself on the Ravens' practice squad, and that's where the Jets would sign him from. Back in April, Howard weighed 369 pounds. Now he is a trimmed down 330. The Jets hope this will be their answer at right tackle seeing the great training camp that he had. We will see when they line up against the Panthers tomorrow.
