Thanksgiving on the Gridiron

Hello NFL Fans. Let PFH be the first ones to tell you Happy Thanksgiving! As NFL Fans, I probably don't have to tell you that these are going to be great games on Thanksgiving. I am so pumped to watch these games. I plan on watching all three games while enjoying my turkey, stuffing, and all of the other great food we plan on having. No better way in spending Thanksgiving then watching NFL Football. We are going to take a look at all three games and how I think that there will be three upsets on Turkey Day!

Packers @ Lions is the first game that airs at 12:30 EST. The first game that everyone is talking about. And as shocking as it may be, a lot of people hopping on the Lions bandwagon to defeat the 10-0 Packers.

Vick and Maclin ruled out for Sunday

Well if things didn't look bad enough for the Eagles before, they go even worse. After not having star receiver   Desean Jaskson last week from a coaches decision to not let him play because he missed a special teams meeting, the Eagles will be without another big target on Sunday in wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. Not only will Maclin be out this Sunday, but quarterback Michael Vick has been ruled out as well. Maclin is dealing with shoulder and ankle injuries. Meanwhile, Vick suffered two broken ribs last week against the Cardinals.

Stepping in their places will be QB Vince Young and WR Riley Cooper will be getting more playing time. WR Desean Jackson has to prove that he learned his lesson this past week and go out there and perform with his team, but it won't be easy as the Eagles are facing division rivals the New York Giants. The Giants just suffered a crushing loss to the 49ers and they are looking to pick up this game to pay back for it. Can the Eagles pull it off on Sunday Night without two key players and be try to ruin the Giants' playoff hopes?

Week 10 Wrap up Recap

Hey NFL Fans, after 10 weeks of action packed football, we are going to recap week 10 and all of it's excitements. There were a lot of great games in Week 10, and in my opinion some big upsets as well.

The first game we are going to look at is Falcons suffering a loss against the Saints. This game was a good one to watch if you had the chance to watch it. Leading in passing game was Matt Ryan with 351 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Although Brees was no slouch neither with 322 yards, and two touchdowns. This was a great game if you love to watch two good offenses attack. The Falcons put together a drive at the end of the 4th quarter that would tie the ball game at 23 and send it into overtime. The Falcons won the toss and got the ball first in overtime. After being stopped, the Saints got a chance at it. The Saints had the same results as the Falcons giving the ball back to them. And on a 4th and inches, the Falcons chose to go for it on their own 29. The Saints defense would stuff the line of scrimmage and stop the Falcons on 4th down. Letting place kicker John Kasey make an easy field goal to win the game for the Saints 26-23.

Of course we have to look at the biggest upset of the week. The Seahawks coming up with a big win against the Ravens. The loss put the Ravens a half game behind the division leaders, the Pittsburgh Steelers. After coming off a big win, the Ravens let their former kicker Steven Hauschka boot five field goals. Tying a franchise record. Marshawn Lynch scored the team's only touchdown. Running back Ray Rice ran for only 27 yards, but only on five carries. Quarterback Joe Flacco threw the ball 52 times. Completing 29 of them for 255 yards and a touchdown, with an interception. The Ravens have a tendency of winning against big teams, yet losing to the somewhat weak ones. Their record stands at 6-3. Losing to the Titans, Jaguars, and now the Seahawks. This is a problem that they will need to fix fast.
